Professional Development Co-Curricular Experience (PDCCE)
The PDCCE puts all the aspects of your program together that can help you with your overall professional development. At the center of the program and the experience are the curricular components, your coursework and the PWE. Around those curricular components are opportunities to apply theory to practice, develop your professional development plan, and specifically build skills and relationships that can be helpful in your career and professional growth.
Relationship Building Tasks:
- Individual career coaching
- Group and peer learning and coaching
- Building effective mentor relationships
- Building an effective professional network
Skill Building Strategies:
- Targeted applied skill development opportunities
- Professional development bootcamp
- Conferences and trainings
Your Professional Development Plan includes ways to build skills, develop relationships, and understand more about professional organizations.
The Career Services Roadmap serves as a general guide to your time in the program as you think about your career. No matter where you are in your career journey or time in the program, we will work with you to help you realize and achieve your goals!
