Want to use AI Interview Preparation?

Want to use AI to finalize your cover letter? Check out AI in Career Development for an outline on use. After reviewing, you can consider this question creation prompt inspired by UMass and Nathan Lindberg at Cornell University.

Sample prompt:

  • You are an expert HR professional and recruiter in the [industry]. Ask me ten interview questions, increasing in level of difficulty, to determine if my skills and experience align with [position] based on the following job description: [Insert job description]
  • I am applying for [position] at [company] based on the attached position description [upload]. Please create a table. In column 1, list possible behavioral interview questions I may be asked. In column 2, provide links to the source of the question. In column 3, give a general strategy to answer the question, such as “tell a story about a problem that is rectifiable and has a happy ending.”

Use of AI IN an Interview: The use of AI tools during an interview to respond to questions is highly discouraged!
