Practicing Interviewing is a great way to feel confident going into an interview. You’ll have the opportunity to complete an Alumni Mock Interview through PUBA 723, but you can take advantage of the same program anytime while you are in the program!

Alumni Mock Interviews

The Virtual Mock Interview Program is a program you can take advantage of as needed, this is not a time limited opportunity. If you have an upcoming interview or want to practice before starting to apply to jobs, you can be matched with an alumnus to conduct a mock interview.

Student role in the process will be:

1. 1. Express interest or is told it would be helpful to do a mock interview
   2. Connect with Assistant Director of Career, Alumni, and Employer Engagement (shines-farmer@sog.unc.edu) to seek alumni mock interviewer
   3. Provide me, shines-farmer@sog.unc.edu with a copy of job description and resume tailored to position.
   4. I’ll connect you and the alumni via email
   5. You will reach out to the alumnus to schedule the interview via zoom/teams/phone
   6. You will provide link or phone information in a calendar invite
