Graduate and Professional student Government

Graduate and Professional Student Government is a representative advocacy organization dedicated to serving all masters, graduate, and professional students at UNC-CH.

Among the many programs and resources that GPSG offers is the GPSG Resource Guide. This guide includes a great deal of information about graduate student life at UNC.

Off Campus Student Life and Community Partnerships

The Office of Off-Campus Student Life enhances the academic experience, holistic development, and civic contribution of students by providing effective services and developmental opportunities that enrich the Carolina experience.

OCSL provides resources and coordinates services to assist students in transitioning to off-campus living. We promote authentic relationships between students and their neighbors by encouraging them to be active and responsible members of the communities in which they live.

Off-Campus Student Life serves to support all Carolina students (undergraduate, grad, and professional) and faculty/staff who are transitioning to or currently living off-campus and in the community through education, advising, resources and support. Their office can be reached at 919-843-5827 or offcampus@unc.edu , you can access resources at http://offcampus.unc.edu or http://offcampushousing.unc.edu, and you can follow them on Twitter and Instagram at @UNC_Off-Campus.

Here is a guide to their University and Off-Campus Living House Service flyer.

Social Media

Find the UNC MPA program on the following social media platforms:

Listservs

The program utilizes listservs to communicate with students.  Only UNC email addresses are used for the lists.

Business Listserv

Each class has its own listserv (ex:  mpaclassofXXXX@listserv.unc.edu).  These listservs are used to disseminate program related information to students.  Some faculty, and all staff members are included on this list.  They are maintained by Susan Lynch.

Social Listserv

This listserv serves as a venue for all students to be able to communicate with both cohorts.  Some cohorts choose to use GroupMe or another similar app in which to correspond. However, if you would like a social listserv, please discuss with Susan Lynch.

If you have questions on Student Life,
please contact Elizabeth Langefeld,
Associate Director of Academic Advising and Student Life.
